MISSION

  Our Mission Statement
   
1. To develop practical and technically sound codes of practice.
2. Reduce accident rate within the industry through the sharing of knowledge between members and consultation with relative authorities, unions etc.
3. To develop safe practical and technically sound specifications for the industry and to promote their adoption by contractors, engineers and authorities.
4. To develop, adopt and promote fair, reasonable and standard industry terms and conditions in contract documentation based upon identifiable Australian standards.
5. The introduction of a 'zero retention' policy which has been adopted by other Federations overseas.
6. To foster and improve employee relations and to develop and adopt equitable enterprise agreements.
7. To promote skill, training and accreditation of employees in all aspects of geotechnical construction.
