Inaugural Golf Competition
A big Thank you to all who attended the Annual Dinner at RACV Royal Pines Resort on Friday 24th July 2009. A fantastic night was had by all with entertainment by “Matt Hollywood and the band “Midnight Groove”.
A round of Golf was played the next morning.This year saw the largest turn-out of players in the history of our golf day, and this was despite some last minute scratchings from a couple of players who were still suffering the effects of the Dinner the night before.
Special mentions to the winning team : Pete Griffin and Andy Elliott (from Piled Foundations) & Dale and Bryce Anderson (from SFL-Piletech) who were the winners of the "Morson Engineering / PFSF Cup". Also, special mention to Peter Goodman who played the game of his life with a team from Leibherr that weren't golfers !!
Also thankyou's to Hard Metal Industries for supplying caps & golf balls for the day, and to Pilequip for providing the prizes.
A great day was had by all, and we hope to see even more members & guests participating in next years event.
